#287094 - 03/04/08 07:46 AM Blower motor resistor did not fix it...

I searched and when everyone else changed their resistor the blower motor worked just fine afterwards. I purchased a new "updated" resistor from my dealer and this one did not solve the problem. So I borrowed one from a known working one and that one did not solve the problem.

The question remains, when the resistor does not repair "only 4 working", what is the next check?

I pulled the control module from the dash and it appears that the switches activate and move correctly.

Thanx!
Any thoughts?

Did the fan motor work at all before the change?

Yes, setting 4 worked prior to and after testing both resistors.

1-3 did not work before testing with replacement resistor, 1-3 did not work after testing with replacement.

I'd have another look at the switch.
