Hi guys!

I have the stock single CD player in my 06 Xterra, I was able to purchase the RF 6 CD stereo a few weeks ago and I'm planing on installing it soon.

I know for sure that I will need an external amp to power the speakers.

My questions are:

1) Will I need to purchase some type of special harness for it to work on in my xterra or will it plug into the factory wiring?

2) What will I need to buy to make it compatible with the aftermarket amp that I am planing to purchase?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, non OEM stereos are not an option in my area where stereo theft is common.

Do you have a Best Buy or Circuit City near you? I had them hard wire into my RF disc for an external amp. As for a harness same lines....if you have them do it for you, they will hard wire without the harness.

I have a freind that installed an aftermaket amp and speakers in his Titan using the RF headunit, he is going to help me do it in my X so hopefully I will be able to do a write up for everyone
