#296725 - 17/03/05 08:30 AM where did you install your amp(s)?

I have one amp installed under the passenger seat but I’m not sure where to install my next amp. With any luck I would like to conceal it somewhere that it won’t be visible.

amp size:
( L x W x H )
20 21/32" x 8 7/8" x 27/32"

I couldnt fit my amp under the pass seat, so I installed it on the back of the rear seat on the drivers side.

But that's only .84 of an inch, and it doesn't fit? I always thought there was more room under the front seat.

I fit both of my amps under the front seats....I took the seats out to install em..

To make one fit under the driver's seat I had to remove a piece of plastic protecting a wire harness under the carpet.

My amps have a height of 2¼"(57mm)

Maybe a little more than what you are looking for, but it was pretty cheap (except I didn't own a jig saw at the time, but it was a week before christmas... so guess what I got from my wife laugh )

Anyway...

Those aren't finished products, but you get the idea. Still needed to cover them in carpet, hide the wires,etc...

You sure that's MDF? Sure looks like particle board to me. In the future, I suggest buying your MDF somewhere else.

Thanks,
I was a high end installer for many years, so I'm pretty familiar with MDF wink

So far not too much. Just the little plastic light cover on the inside of the hatch. Took care of that though. Then again I only have about 6k miles on it, so stuff hasn't had a chance to rattle apart yet smile That, and I don't have the subs in all the time. Have to take them out when I take my dogs out to the beach or where ever.

Mine needed to be out of the way. And this was all I could think of. It works great.
