Subject says it all. Clock used to run a couple of minutes fast. I noticed tonight that it is right on time. Is this a sign of a dying battery? Or just cold weather?

Battery still stock, now 3 1/2 years old.

(I know, I know, just replace it.)

The clock circuit in the radio likely runs on 5 volts or less. Unless your battery is almost stone-dead it will not affect the clock.

The original battery in the X is tiny. It may be time to replace it after 3 1/2 years.
