Did a search but couldnt really find what i was looking for.

Has anyone removed the factory RF amp? I have an aftermarket headunit installed with a kenwood amp. So if I disconnect the two harness going into the amp, that shouldnt affect my system, right? I couldnt really tell with all the wires back there what is what.

Anything else I need to know to remove the stock amp? Doing this to see if I will have room back there to install an XM tuner & pioneer adapter.

Thanks

If your HU is XM ready, Install the tuner under the front pass seat. thats where I installed my Pioneer xm tuner.

Had it installed professionally. There was enough room to the left and right of the HU to install the XM tuner and the Pioneer adapter. Didn't have to install under the passenger seat.
