I have a 2006 Xterra with the non Rockford Fosgate system. If i were to get my hands on one of the RF head units, could i drop it in with the factory speakers? I know that changing the speakers would be better with more power and sound traveling through them, but is this possible?

Any Thoughts?

Your money would be better spent on an aftermarket head unit. You can get the exact features you want and it'll be a lot cheaper than the factory RF unit.

the factory speaker on my s model are junk, if you purchase a deck and dont change speakers- they will eventually go bad. i change my factory deck and left speakers alone and speakers went bad after month or so. i searched for a sony factory outlet and found a good deal on my current deck with xm ready.
