I am located in Ames Iowa and wanted to hook up in one of the trips one of these days, My X is ready to go, I have a few mods on it. Just wanted to introduce myself here in the Midwest poll. You will be hearing from me more often. Peace

I have a couple friends that go to college in Ames and we do runs down to a place called Hoosier Creek (600 Acres). It is located about 20 min south of Cedar Rapids on the back side of Lake McBride... I've tried to get some Xterra owners to go on runs with us, but never had any takers... next time we have a run, I'll post and you are more than welcome to come down and play. There is usually some nice mud holes, steep/off-camber hills and a couple creeks to go through... 99% of the obstacles are easy to medium stuff.

Yeap, school is the reason for me being here in Ames, it’s a pretty cool town. That sounds great. Cedar Rapids is pretty close from here. I have been looking for a place here in Iowa to go out and play, I am relatively new to the area that is why I was unaware of places to go.
