I need to have some out-of-warranty tranny work completed - no, not the Xterra.

Anyone know of a good reputable shop, preferably in the the east valley?

I'll ask my buddy. He just had some tranny work (total replacement) done on his Explorer a month or so ago. ( [Uh Oh !] ) They did good work and didn't empty his wallet.

I think it was in PHX, but I'll ask.

From my buddy:
Quote:

"...are very good (or seem to be). The guy to talk to is John (or Paulette) at "John's family car care", 748 East Dunlap, PHX. 602 678 1447.
They seem to do 'deals' whenever we've asked them, or told them we're on a budget."
I don't know if this is even close to you, but worth a shot if it is.

Play the "budget" card. laugh

Edit: If you do end up there, tell them Paul (a British guy) recommended them. smile
