Anyone here ever done the Chivo Falls trail down here in Tucson? I've seen it listed as anywhere from easy to difficult. Everyone rates trails differently, it seems. My book calls Broken Arrow a "7/10" but I've seen it listed as a 2.5/5, or "easy 4wd." The X is an IFS bohemoth comapred to a Jeep, but I'd be curious to know if myself and a stock Land Rover can tackle this particular trail.

Anyone know about it? I'm looking to go this weekend...

The most difficult part is now the very beginning. The "sluice" has been beaten into submission. There are 20 different routes up and down the section that once made this trail difficult. I have driven it in a stock 91 wrangler, a stock Ram 4X4 and a landcruiser with 36" tires. The other bonus is that if you chicken out there is an alternate way in/out. Just take your time and don't go by yourself. You should always have another vehicle just in case:)
