What are the plans for the support group heading up to the bike ride? Is everyone going up Friday night and are we going to do a group caravan?

Two groups, early and late?

I'll be home in Anthem by 5:00, I can be loaded and ready if anyone wants to be on the road that early. Friday traffic is going to suck heading up so no one is getting there in a hurry.

We can also just wait for everyone to gather up a little later after the traffic dies down somewhat.

FYI- anyone coming from the east side may want to get to Carefree hiway from the 101 and take it to I-17 and then north from there. It bottlenecks pretty badly on Fridays at the I-17 & 101 interchange. Four lanes down to two and adding traffic from another freeway, go figure.

The group has to go past the Anthem exit so maybe we should meet at the "Four sons" gas station/mart there?

What's everyone's plans?

I'm not sure if everyone knows this or not.......there is a six a.m. meeting Saturday morning, and then we break camp and head out right after. Where we camp/party Sat. night is in a different location.

Caused a change of plans for me, thought I'd make sure everyone knew that.

Mike I'm down for whatever, thanks for the traffic update.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the 6am Sat. gathering. Brian talked about it at the last meeting and it's probably in an email somewhere. I am under the impression everyone was heading up Friday night and not trying to leave really early in the morning to make the meeting.

I was thinking just sleeping in the back of the truck the first night as opposed to unpacking and repacking in the morning to move to another location. If I remember correctly, there will be a vehicle to take all our stuff to the Sat night location for us so we don't have to carry it along all day.

Hey prez type dude, jump in here anytime and let us know some plans laugh

6 am is correct- Easy camping would be recommended since it's pretty early to be packing stuff up.

That's the first I've heard of a vehicle taking our camping supplies...

I'll get in touch with Michelle and find out.

I get off work at 5pm and with good packing the night before I can be ready to go at 6.

Can someone forward me a copy of the plans for the weekend? Shannon and I are bringing Kaelyn, and have no idea what to bring. We missed the beginning of the last meeting, and this talk about not camping at the same place Friday and Sat night is news to me.

It might just be easier for us to come up Sat morning instead of trying to camp with a huge tent and baby, and pack up by 6AM.

Thanks,
Mark

I'll forward you the info once I get to work.

It would be better to do Friday night. Since you have the baby, we'll help you get packed up in the am. That's what Xterra friends are for! laugh
