Those of you who ride motorcycles, quads or drive 4x4's up through the Crown King area as well as others in the BFC may have interest in the attached meeting notice. The Prescott National Forest is preparing to revise the Forest Management Plan. * Various laws and policies require PNF to make balanced decisions

* Interest of national constituencies, laws and regulations will be a part of the Plan

* Forest Plan approval rests with Forrest Supervisor; cannot legally give away authority

Traditional methods of formal public participation in Forest Plan revision will be used in addition to these informal community meetings. PNF will hold formal public meetings on the Forest Plan anticipated after April 2008.
