Head on over to the GOX pages, and check out the itinerary.
Then fill out the signup form, and submit it.
Those who do not fill out the signup form, will only be allowed on trail runs if spare room is available.

Uh I have a problem I am not familiar in the tiniest degree with any of the trails and therefore do not know which runs I will sign up for. Is this binding or will there be some shuffling around on site. It is also hard to know which ones I am gonna want to go on or whatever. Also there is no option to select the sccx trail runs.

Ian, I was going to suggest you make links from the names of the trails to photos you have so people can get an idea of what they'll encounter.

Try buying a book on eBay. Damned if I can remember the name of it, but the one I have is very well done and explains the trails right down to the tenth of a mile.
My personal favorites are Imogene, Picyune(sp?) and California.
You can follow me IM. I'll get you lost, guaranteed!

Ouch! Good thing we've been planning on this and have done our homework. I pity the fool who just found out about GOX.

So what is the deal with the invitation only trail ride on the 3rd? Should I be expecting a gold embossed invite in the mail anytime soon?

Sorry, no Willy Wonka certificates in the mail. Just me and some close friends going somewhere cool.

Pick some people, and make up your own trip, then share your adventure with us at the chili cookout.

Ian, I noticed you have RMXC doing the Alpine Loop with lunch on Wednesday.. Are we going to be back in time for Outlaw or are we just planning on being the group to close the place down

Also, I noticed with your invitation only and with the other groups only doing a night run or an open run on Monday, might want to talk a group into having a planned run, since that is the first day there and people wont know their way around as well..

Just my thoughts.. I'm ready to go!!

There should be time. I believe we did the same thing last year. We have the Outlaw all night, which may be overkill.

SWXC is running the Alpine Loop on Monday.
The big problem is too many people (then again, maybe not with the poor response to the trail run sign up) and too few people to lead trail runs.

I can't be in 10 places at once, so people will have to figure out what to do with themselves. There are lots of people from regional clubs coming from all over the country, who are used to driving with one another, and they need make plans for some of the days they are there.

I encourage everyone to fill out the requested forms, polls, and make things as easy as possible for the host who is basically doing all of us a huge favor in hosting/organizing the event.

Besides some great 4 wheelin' there are lots of other outdoor recreational activities and places to explore in the San Juan's. Large group trail runs are fun but consider doing some other day activities outside the vehicles such as taking the time to go hiking, mine exploring, wildlife viewing, checking out the waterfalls, fishing, biking, etc.

IMO having a set agenda is fine but I also like some spontaneity, flexibility, and the time to find/enjoy the surprises so I'm planning on just heading out with some smaller groups a couple of times and tailoring the adventures to the moment.

On that note the SCCX trail runs are open to all and there is no need to sign-up just show up for some fun adventure The cool full moon night run will be memorable as will the other run that will feature a different and somewhat more challenging route as compared to how most people run the alpine loop. If you're into Xlporing, seeing the San Juan's in a different light, and like some variety/spice you should have a blast on these runs

And then you double posted here.

I would check with your ISP to figure out why stuff isn't going from your computer to other computers, forcing you to click things more than once smile
