We're coming to GOX from Kansas City- we'll heading through Colorado Springs and going to Howard, Co for white water rafting- then going to Mesa Verde- then heading up to the Bridal Veil Falls before getting to Ouray.
It says the Bridal Veil Falls begins at Pandora Mill and is by Judd Weibe Trail.
I'm assuming, this is close by where the GOX trails are? We will be there Monday (ahead of our reservations for Tuesday)
Is there anywhere we could do primitive camping in that area or would we get in trouble? We could just go to Ouray that night, but I would rather just camp out for free in the wild that night.

Thanks for the help!

I have seen people camping off the Ophir pass road, which starts fairly close to Silverton.

I think this is the same area talked about here by AzJeeper.
