Seems like Ian has found the place to hide it now we just need to get some stuff to fill it.
Reminder.. An ammo can is not that big so make sure that if you do bring something that it will fit in the can.

To add to the geo-fun, like the guy from MIss. that wants to collect stickers, perhaps each regional club could bring something to add to the ammo can -other than their stickers - that represents their area... Like a nationwide sampler pack... Postcards, coastal sand, fall leaves, lava rock, whatever. just a thought, alfonse

Here's my idea for the GeoCache. I was actually going to have a contest at GOX this year, with a prize for whoever found "the school buses", but this will be fun too. The school buses are the two small rectangles pointed out on the picture. The way down to this spot is quite hairy, the 4 switchbacks are steeper and looser than those on Black Bear. You can get here from Poughkeepsie, California or Corkscrew.  [ 08-30-2001: Message edited by: xoc ]
