I wonder when they are going to bring back Quinton Jackson to fight Liddell?

Quinton is the last guy to beat Chuck. I saw a re-run of the 2003 fight last night on "The Best Damn Sports Show" and Quinton easily beat Chuck in that one. Randy Couture is past his prime.

Who is fighting in UFC 58?

I remember watching UFC 1 when it all started. It was way different back then. No weight classes, no rules for the most part. It was funny watching the little 150lb guy fight the 300lb guy. I kind of miss the early UFC's. Maybe too many people got hurt so they had to implement more rules.

that was 2003...Chucky is a much better fighter today....I am looking forward to Gracie-Hughes though.....the man who built the sport with Shamrock has been away for too long!

let me guess. Everybody here is a Sylvia fan?

I'm a Couture fan. Who wouldn't be. It's an odd feeling, though, that he keeps on coming back. It is like you want him to win, but stop so he doesn't get killed. He is amazing though.
I'd say going into the fight this past weekend I didn't like Sylvia. After hearing the pre-fights I started to like the guy a little more. I am glad someone beat him though.
If Randy has to fight Cro Cop at some point I hope he doesn't get jacked up.

The only reason i suggested the Sylvia fandamonium was because of the lack of enthusiasm here after the Couture win.

Would have thought people would be all over that...i mean it was a big win. Regardless, Couture is an oldy but a goody!

Randy is past his prime...hmm I bet Sylvia doesn't think so after the ass kicking he took this weekend from Randy.
