I have the interior pcket net that I transeferred over from 2001 to my 2005. How different is the new 2005 model it if at all and does it come with metal buckles or the same plastic ones that the older model came with?

The MIXP will fit but not as taut as the resized version would be. What would you like to see, metal or plastic buckles on the new version?

Definietly metal, I had the previous mini xnet before I purchased the pocket net and no matter what I loaded it with those buckles never loosened although it didn't hold the smaller items like I wanted it too. I would definietly advise metal buckles I have 3 lightweight nylon jackets in it right now. I used to also keep a small pair of FRS radios and a small set of binoculars and the buckles wouldn't hold. I constantaly had to retighten them. any chance we could work on a trade. [ThumbsUp]

There will be a RIX2 net that is what you are wanting. You can pre order it (same price as the RIXN net) but expected by XMAS shipping.

Thanks for the input, I'd like to request a poll on that feature.

at least for pre orders it is the same price as the older style Xterra's net; the RIXN. I would still anticipact it being very close in price as it is very similiar in size and materials.

Good to hear you are developing the large full size interior ceiling net. I've been checking your site every few weeks for '05+ products, particularly the large ceiling rack. I bought it for my '01 X and have been waiting for if for the '05. I'll buy for the original's price when it ships.

eh, apparently I jumped the gun and got the old model net with the 05 extenders. It is a little slack, but...I guess that just means it can hold more gear.

FWIW, I'd be very interested in a 'full size' interior cieling net for my '06.
