I wasn't signed up but planned to at the last minute.

We got an offer on our house and would be living in AZ by then and it's a quick drive from there.... Bastards pulled their offer citing "cold feet" so that's the story there.

Damn I'm jealous of whoever's goin'... [Finger]

I am planning on it but have to see if I get my leave approved first.

Me too. Don't see a problem right now with getting it either being that I'm the only one requesting the days.

There are 53 signups on the goneMOAB site.
In the Usergroups we have the following numbers.

Frontiers: 2
Hardbody: 2
Pathfinder: 3
Patrol: 2
Xterra: 20

That's 29 so a lot of people appear to have just signed up with no intention of going.

After looking at alot of different stories and pictures of Golden Spike and Golden Bar Rim, I've decided to purchase some good undercarriage armor. Should be here soon...
Also, I noticed on the Gonemoab website it says to remove the factory hitches from the rear. Does it get in the way alot?

The stuff that will drag on Golden Spike and other trails is usually the rear bumper corners and shackles dropping off ledges. There really aren't a lot of obstacles on slickrock that stick up underneath the vehicle, so that part is not as big of a concern.

Regarding reciever hitches, if you're not pulling a trailer, take it off, it's only a hinderance, and damages the terrain.

Well I like to keep it for a rear recovery point, but I don't see any pictures of mud or anything like that, so I will most likely remove it then.

I currently have no fuel tank skid being that the stock one was torn all to hell. No one has had trouble with hitting much in this spot underneath? I ordered one through Xterraparts but I will cancel If you don't see it being a problem not having one...(more beer money)

I'm not going to convince anyone to buy anything for their vehicle.

Anything can touch anywhere depending on how the vehicle is driven.

Yeah, I'm aware of that one. I think I'll just go ahead and keep the order placed. Thanks

If anything get sliders...Just took mine off after the Moab trip in October, the left one was pushed up 1/2 an inch, I guess they paid for them selves. Can't wait to do Elephant hill again...

Got sliders a long time ago...But you are right, they are a must for people that take their trucks off road.

Guys, we're not trying exclude anyone. But we are trying to give Nissan a good head count for the dinner and other items to be given out. THAT is only being courteous. Please, if you have signed up, let us know if you're on the fence or what. If you plan to attend but have not yet signed up, please do so that we don't run short on space or food!
