I know that this event happened a few months ago, but when is the next goneMOAB scheduled? A trip like this for me requires a lot of forward scheduling. Thanks.

It will be during EJS next year. EJS always falls the week prior to Easter, and ends on Easter.

I thought you had said earlier you weren't going to do it again during EJS due to the crowds?

A schedule will be posted when we have the trail layout confirmed, which is after the 2003 EJS schedule is released.

The dates are the week prior to Easter next year, April 13th through April 19th.

People will be required to sign up to attend.

The local sponsoring organization is looking at possible fixed week rather than tied to Easter. The spring break party crowd has some concerned. Moab has people attending for many reasons, spring break works for those in or with family members in school, but then all sorts of others have the same week off. The traditional hardcore group will take the time off to attend regardless of Easter or spring break.

Changes were discussed in a postcard that I received in the last couple weeks. They are planning a small event over the Labor Day weekend.
