Ditto on the Silverstar by Sylvania. I picked them up at Autozone for $37+tax. Easy to install. Just don't touch the bulb with your bare hands i.e. wear gloves while handling them. If you need help just shoot me a PM and I'll help walk you through it. I just did this myself this past weekend. Barry

Well if it is going to reach $200... then aftermarket xenon kits start getting affordable.
Friend of mine, put a set on his Ford Harley truck and they are nice... but low beams only, as I recall.
Properly aimed lights, with a decent fog/driving light kit is the way I'll be going.

This is my first time trying them so you may want to factor in the opinions from the folks who have more experience with their durability. Barry

Very bright and white. X2, and last WAY much longer than Silverstars (thats my experience).

I was really close to getting the GE Nighthawks but could find the right size. Went with the Silverstar Ultras. So far they've been great. Noticable difference, brighter, and much whiter. Especially great on high beams. We'll see how long they last, had them about a month. If they don't, then I'll go with the Nighthawks.

Recently picked up a pair of the 9004 Silverstars at Walmart for my 2001 X... so far I'm prety happy with the color of the light... from what I understand, not touching the bulb at all during installation is critical to extending the life of the bulb...

The bulbs that they were refering to were the GE Nighthawks. Good luck!
