I too have painted Matchbox Xterras to match mine. Although I pulled the wheels off of a green dune buggy looking thing from Matchbox and glued them on instead. Kinda like a monster X.

Well I finally contacted the seller on Ebay asking when/if they could obtain more of these Xterras. Turns out they're not factory paint jobs...
"The variations are only available because we produce them ourselves using mint condition models and then re-liverying each one. You effectively get a "one off" model because we don't usually produce more than one of each type."

Some more:

It's funny, I see a lot of different type of Xterra models.
But does anyone have just a simple regular silver one without any crazy add ons?

What about Revell, can we build one?

Take a matchbox and paint it yourself like the red one above, or like I did...

Xterras so far are only available in Matchbox or by radio control...

Hehe, what does a good matchbox paintjob cost?

Can you get undercoating??

Somebody with a small machine shop should start making tiny winch bumpers!

In no particular order (and probably not complete):

1. Silver (3 variations)
2. Blue
3. White (musical tampo - school 5 pack)
4. Bronze (Tennessee tampo) - 2 variations
5. White (Patrol tampo)
6. Crocodile Hunter
7. Yellow (newest mainline)
8. Tazmanian Devil (Looney Tunes 5-pack, only seen at K-Mart so far - there's a different Looney pack everywhere else)

I've only found the white beach Patrol and the blue with red Kayaks "MHC outfitters". Actually, I've only seen the one white one, mine, and a couple other blue ones. Looking for another one without Kayaks for a project. Failing that I'll have to make do.
