If it's not too personal of a question, I'm curious as to the rough estimate those have spent per their modifications to the X.

Curious to know as well - for those that offroad their trucks, if damages were sustained, aside from tires/hubs and rough estimates of getting those items repaired.

Any threats of non-warranted items do mod's?

Only mod put into my X was a new set of Dueler Revo's for $600; however, I'd like to a lot more.

My fuzzy dice cost me 2.99 at Walmart. So did the clip on passenger side vanity mirror

Overhead light bar = $55
4 Overhead lights = $98
4 Tires (BFG 31') = $556
Tow strap = $23

Air freshener .99 walmart
sunglass clip .99 dollar store
road map 3.99 walmart

everything I need nothing that i dont

I'm at about $5000*.

I like to concentrate on all the money I have saved by doing modifications myself and shopping for the best prices. We don't talk about how much this stuff costs.

I've spent around $1,400 on different stuff, replaced factory stereo and speakers and bike racks,and stuff like that...no damages from off-roading but 2 unfortunate fender benders that insurance covered...my next thing is to get some BFG All Terrain tires...hopefully, next Christmas bonus

Sean you are definitely right it was pure jealousy for me to make such mean comments about your mall cruiser. I don't have nearly that much invested in mine and am just plain not in your league. This is all I have done so far. I really need to get sum ultra agressive tires like yours.

I hate to break it to you but your Xterra looks just as much a "Mall Cruiser" as mine if not more, and that pin stripe on yours gives it a nice "Feminine" touch to boot. Maybe you should have painted your fire extinguisher pink to match? "Dorky" tail light guards eh? At least I wasn't stupid enough to buy the FULL "Do more damage in a crash" wanna-be ARB brush guard like you did.

I have no idea, nor do I want to find out...that would be the first step to admitting I had a problem now wouldn't it.

Why? Because I paid $50.00 on ebay for the Nissan tail light guards? How much did you pay for your full WAAG? I paid only $189 w/free shipping for my WAAG sportster. At least I can remove most of the money I spent (sound system), and install it in another vehicle.

You should both worry less about how your truck looks and more about how it performs. Spend some money and get front and rear lockers, suspension lift, tuned cam, relocated air filer or snorkel, on board air or some other goodies. Instead you two are compeating to see who has the best grill gaurd. Whoopie, you are both real off roaders now.
