This is a first last week i drove from from Tyler to Ft.Worth and back and going about 75-80 i managed to get between 17 and 18 mpg. How this happened i ahve no clue but i was pleasently surprised i usually get 14-15 mpg.

• Wind at your back?

• Maybe it reversed direction on your way home?

• Better still, maybe the winds were just calm. I hate driving the X in windy weather.

• The impeccably smooth sailing that is I-20?
