I'm in the market for a supercharged X, but was dissappointed in seeing that the '03's only come in automatics now, it looks like only the base model 4 cylinders come with manuals. I'm not real experienced in 4 wheeling, but I always thought manuals were supposed to be better for that, what do you serious off roaders have, manuals or automatics. The automatics at least have more torque.

If you're new to 4 wheeling, get an automatic. Much easier to control uphill and over obstacles, and even the manuals have to use the brakes on downhills due to high gearing.
