Anyone using this type of shackle?

Withg the installation of new leaf springs, I am considering the expenditure.

Maybe one less source of squeaking.

Thoughts-

Bump.........

There has to be someone who has some thoughts?

Any previous installations?

Any rumors from a friend with a Jeep who said something about these?

See, I'm looking for information.

To be honest I don't think that is a big source of squeeks on the Xterra back there. It's usually just the leafs that tend to squeek a bit, but no where near the amount of noise that a set of Calmini a-arms can put out when those decide to act up. [Freak]

Yeah I have some on my pathy, the bushings are what's greaseable, that's normally done through the shelve and/or bolts that have a hole on one side and the fitting on the top. Should be easy to do the same if you can get hold of the proper shelve and/or bolts; the bushing should last longer, be more flexy (since they will not be as dry) and less prone to squeaking.

I do not think that I have seen this from AC, Calmini, SLR, or any of the other sources, but that does not mean that something wouldn't work.

When the Xterra was introduced, there wasn't much available for a long time. People modified parts from other Nissan installations. People did things to solve problems, some are/were singlular solutions, others have become almost standards.

The goal will be to find the correct width and length product. I am looking for ways to prevent a problem in the future that I have had in the past.

I have included the image above a reference of available products.
