So I hit a hidden speed bump tonight and broke the middle leave on the passanger side. It broke towards the front after the U-bolts. So I am guessing this means I need to buy 2 new leaf packs. Why would this have happened. We only have 44,000 miles on the truck. Is there anything I should upgrade to. the sucky part is I was going to do a PML next week.

If you have a local spring shop why don't you just have the broken leaf replaced... or a junk yard. If you have to get new leaf packs There's Deaver or Alcan. Then you can just crank your T-bars and have your PML....
