While there are many differing opinions on whether body lifts are good or bad, I can tell you that so far my experience with it has been great. The install is alot of work though, however they do include a very thorough set of instructions with the kit. Perhaps the hardest thing about the kit is cutting away the section of body that your radiator is currently sitting on and installing the bracket to drop the radiator. I hope you have a die grinder as it makes this job a heck of a lot easier.

Good luck.

Body lifts serve their purpose as they allow a larger tire to be run preventing tire/body contact, they are less expensive to buy than a suspension lift but in terms of installation sometimes harder and almost always take more time. If your choice was suspension or body and you have the money to spend on either go with a suspension lift, you gain much more with the shock/a-arm change, more articulation, etc than just clearing larger tires. Combining both allows you to run 33x12.5's with proper wheel offset but your gearing will suffer. So getting back to the original question: Performance Accessories makes good complete body lift kits, installation usually takes 8-12 hours and access to some metal cutting tools is generally necessary...go for it
