I just bought 4 pro comp shocks with boots. I'm going to change out the stocks this weekend. The question is do the shocks get mounted boots up or boots down, and ,or does this matter?Any info would be appreciated and yes I did search first.

You don't have a choice up front. In the rear, boots up is typical, unless you have monotube shocks which can be mounted either way. Take the boots off or cut drain holes in the "bottom" of them if you mount them can-up though, otherwise they'll fill with crap over time and ruin the shock.
