Just got my X about a week and a half ago, and not too long after started noticing a knocking noise in the floor that you can actually feel when taking turns, usually right ones. I finally broke down yesterday and took it to the dealer and they've still got it, and said it will be at least Monday. So far they haven't been able to figure out what it is, however they have reproduced the noise in 2 other Xterras.
Is this normal or something? Has anyone else experienced it?

Well, it turned out not to be in the suspension, but the problem was..one of the rubber bushings on a body mount was messed up, and basically at every bump it was hitting body to chassis and making a noise. They've gotten it fixed though. Now I can snap some pics of my baby and post them

Can't believe they are still having that problem. It took my '01, twice to the dealer to fix the problem.

Check ALLDATA.COM - I think there was a TSB and a fix to this. Something to do with adding spacers to the end of the torsion bars to stop the knocking.
