With 97K on my 2000, I think I need new shocks. I do no rock crawls, less than 5% off-road, mostly urban and interstate. I tow a 4500 lb boat 3 or 4 times each summer. How about Tokico Trek Master R/Ts? Any reviews/suggestions?

I second the Bilstein vote. Ever since installing a set on my truck, extreme front end dive under hard braking is a thing of the past.

Here I go contributing to the Bilstein propaganda, but they are SO worth it! I don't have much experience with other shocks in Xterras, but the Bils are primo! Cornering, handling, braking, speed bumps, washboard roads, I am really impressed and glad I spent the extra few $$ for them!
They are really easy to install as well!
And did I mention that they are oh so smooth?

I've had my Bilsteins for two years now and they still kick ass.
