i did a search and couldnt find the answer...

if i am just installing the AAL's from calmini, do i need to install the bumpstop extentions?

i called them and they said i do, but i get the feeling they are being overly conservative.

i would think they would only be necessary if i had the shackles as well?

i know the advantages and disadvantages... but is it really likely that i would over extend the leafs without the shackles?

I wouldn't install them with just the AAL's. If you do then you're going to be riding closer to your bumpstop than you are now and your articulation will suffer.

I have shackles and AAL's and do not have my extensions installed. IMHO it is not needed.

Generally, bumpstops are more related to tire size...if the tire is a larger diameter, you extend the bumpstop to keep it from hitting on the way up...
