I've been searching and it seems that everyone goes with Bilstein shocks. I'm getting my Calmini 3" SL put on in about a week. I'm also going to put on a 2" BL, hopefully. I already got the Calmini shocks but was thinking I should upgrade, but to what exactly and why. Meaning which exact model should I get?

Hopefully Calmini will refund me if I return their shocks (still packaged).

Thanks!

Or are the Calmini ones really good and I should just keep them?

I would just keep the Calmini Shocks and replace them when they wear out since they are already paid for. If Calmini will refund the cost of the shocks, get the Bilsteins. I don't know the part number though. Do you want OEM, 10%, or 20% stiffer valveing?

At best your going to get 100 bucks back for the shocks if calmini takes them back. Your best bet is going to be ebay if your going to sell them.

Calmini bangs you with a re-stocking charge of 15% last time I got quoted on getting banged.

The Bilsteins are the way to go, if you are adding weight, like winch, bumpers, skids, rails, etc...get 20% stiffer extended for 3" SL.

Got my Bilsteins yesterday going to install them along with the Bilstein Stabilizer this weekend.

I say ebay is your best bet.

No I don't plan on adding a bumper or winch at least not in the next couple of years. In that case if I can get rid of the Calimini ones what should I get? 10% stiffer? TJ you mentioned "extended". Anyone know which ones as in which ones and who to buy them from?

sinarx,

The steering stabilizer is a bitch to install. You might want someone to help you.
