I put a set of Bils on my X in January. They were freakin' awesome for a couple of months. Now they feel like the old stokers - too much roll in the corners, skittering on washboard, etc.

What's the life expectancy on these things anyway? I've put about 18K on them, only about 1000 on dirt.

If your springs/torsiopn bars are worn out, you can get the same feel.

Shocks do not control roll. They control the rate of roll. Your springs & sway bars determine how far you roll.

as far as I know they have a lifetime warranty on them... I know one guy that replaced them after about 60k and he said his old ones still had tons of srping left to them..

They have a lifetime warrenty...but you never know about QA/QC in shipping, whatever...shit happens...and you might be the recipient...but its not the way to bet.

As they worked for a while...I assume you replaced OEM shocks, and that the roll and skittering was happening when the OEM shocks went on you, and that's why you upgraded...and now its back?

Its possible as mentioned that something else is out of whack...t-bars, leaves, arms, tire pressure, etc.

If the old ones were OK, and you didn't have the same problems...just swap the old one's on and see if the problem goes away...if not, its something else...if they go away...it WAS the new shocks.
