Anyone else feel like their rear suspension hits the bumpers too soon? I thought maybe it was because I have the "S" model, but a buddy of mine has the same year as me - 2006 - but in an O/R model, and he says his does the same thing.

I'm not talking about wheel rub or bottoming out, I'm talking about the suspension compression until it hits the bumper pads on the axle. I don't think it hurts nothing, because I've beaten the crap out of it for a while now and to no ill effect, but I kinda wish the rear suspension had a little more travel.

Maybe I could use a "lift"? smile

Yeah, either Timbren bumpstops or an add a leaf (AAL) will fix your situation.
