I have heard from the various desert racing boards that soon after the race was complete that the SunCoast Casino call the BITD organizers and told them that they will not be renewing their contract to host the BITD teams for next year. Reason?? There was literally tons of trash left in the parking lots by the race teams, someone did a huge burnout doughnut in the parking lot, and another team did a tranny fluid flush/change in the parking lot and left all the fluids on the ground.....So basicly the race teams shot themselves in the foot on this one...

Let this be a lesson learned for EVERYONE out there in the offroad community...if you abuse your priviledges and don't clean up after yourselves, you only have yourself to blame when areas get shut down and people don't want to associate with you....

On a positive note, I can say unequivocably (spelling?) that it was NOT any members of Xterraracer's crew that was responsible for any of this...we had plenty of trash bags, hauled all our own garbage and then some out of the parking lots, took in abandoned gear (tires, gas cans, etc.) and took the time at 1:30 AM after being up for 24 hours straight to look around our pits and make sure we had cleaned up all we could...so we X owners did ourselves proud at least...lets keep it up!!

Haven't you noticed that the downfall of most things in today's age are based on the stupidity of the masses...

That's an example of how it ruins it for others..
