Anyone know what engine Designation the 4 Cyl. X has ? I read somewhere that it's the same as the 240 ...which would be like KA24DE ....

Yes, KA24DE, 2.4L DOHC inline 4.

hmmmmmm ..my son has a 93 240 ...turbo..has pistons rods ...some other mods ...we are hoping about 400hp @ rear wheels ...Dyno results soon .....would that be a bad X ?

I think it would be interesting but not practical... as others have said, the X is a truck so it's all about torque, not HP...
