Ok i have a 2003 xterra 4x4 looking into locking the rear but what axle do i have????

Locker suggestions???

You should have a H233B 33-spline rear axle. At this time, nobody is making a mechanical locker for the Xterra. If you really wanted to get carried away, you could go with a replacement of your 33-spline axles with some older 31-spline Nissan axles (you are looking for ones with Drum Brakes and ABS, older Frontiers are the best bet), and then you could go with a Lock-Right or Detroit locker. Your only real option now, other than going with a LSD on the rear (and f ront !) is to put in an ARB air locker. Expensive option, but its all that's out there. Good luck!

I wish AUSSIE WOULD !!!! i just put mine on my TJ best mod since my rear arb ! it helped me win a Mile Marker winch this past sunday

Look at the diff, and see if it has a "Use LSD Oil" sticker/tag on it...if it does, you have a factory LSD (Was an option, std on SE I think).

That changes what options you have.

The factory LSD is pretty bad compared to the tighter aftermarket options....and limits what you can replace in the carrier, etc.
