Okay, I know Nissan has pre-wired the Xterra S for fog lights as well as satellite radio. Does anyone know if the S version comes pre-wired for Steering audio control switches like they have on the off-road & SE trim levels with the RF audio package. My '05 Xterra S just has the base stereo installed. Thanks in advance.

I do believe it does, the RF head unit is an option on the S models. You would need the RF head unit for the controls to work, unless you add an aftermarket head unit that accepts steering wheel controls.
