Using Nissan's comprehensive site, I just compared the brand new 05 X to an 04 Model year F360. Nissan contends that the X has the distinct advantages of a longer powertrain warranty and larger engine. Interesting.

Please elaborate - what are you comparing the X to and where on Nissan's site did you do the comparison?

i was being facetious. on the nissan site for the x you can compare it to ANY car (not just truck or suv) and compared it to a Ferrari 360 Modena. Nissan came back with saying the x has a larger displacement engine (which it actually does), and a better powertrain warranty in hopes of convincing me that the X was a better vehicle for my needs than the 360. i just thought i was amusing on nissan's part.

OK, I thought maybe you meant F-350. Saying that the Xterra has a larger standard engine in that case would be funny.

Though a diesel in an X would be a fine thing, indeed.
