well the wife got it for me on ebay as a gift. So I put it in about 10 minutes.as soon as the engine was turned on, the service engine soon light came on. did not turn off for crap. throttle response was great and the truck felt peppy but that damn light just bugged me so I removed the chip. I had to disconnect the positive battery terminal for like 5 minutes to reset the ecu and the light stayed off thank god.
i think that raising the timing to like 17 and using 89-91 octane gas would probably yield same results so the timing light will come out tommorow since i'm off. I'll fill you guys in on the progress. I'd rather wait for Jim Wolf technology to make a ecu for this thing plug and play and no lights they are making some stuff soon for us. p.s . don't bother getting this chip!
not worth it imho.
