#473254 - 08/02/05 03:03 PM '05 Pricing Released in Canada

Just returned from a dealer in Burnaby and the new '05 Xterra pricing was released today. Unlike the US where each trim level can be ordered with many options, Nissan Canada pre-packages each trim level and offers few options. I think they do that so ordering is easier. I didn't have too much time to get into the pricing with the sales guy but the S will be $33,700.00, which is about $1800.00 more than the '04. The dealer expects inventory in 3 weeks.

One thing I forgot. That pricing is with an auto transmission.

I take it that would be a 4WD as well. That would make it about $27,000 in U.S. dollar$.

I fully expected Nissan to have already released the pricing by now, I guess we will know any day now.

Yes that is the 4x4. The 4x2 is not offered in Canada. That price also includes the Power Package and Utility Package as well.

Not Calgary Either. Picked up my 4Runner today, and they got nothing available. I don't even think they know about the price.

Don't know if we have pricing info yet, but local dealer called me this morning and said the brochure is ready for pickup. Sounds good!

Ya I thought it was going to be only about a thousand or so more. Did a comparison with the old one and the new X is $3000 more.

I'm gunning that they have around $3000 to go down plus if you wait untill Fall the interest rates drop and there more likely willing to give you your price at that time. Unless they have those sparatic monthly incentives that they don't advertise.

Finally saw one this morning myself when I dropped my vehicle off to Nissan. It's a night armour. it looks great, smaller than I thought, and the fender gives me a muscle look. However, the new headlights are really too small, especially when you turn them on, it looks even smaller for no reason. Anyway, I still consider that New X is exotic, and I'm going to test drive one very soon I guess.
