Hey folks, I am new to the forum. I own a 2004 Xterra XE automatic transmission. Had started noticing when coming to a stop position a small vibration in the vehicle much like a manual transmission when you stop but don't engage the clutch...the vehicle stalling. Of course my Xterra doesn't stall when doing this. Took it to my dealer, they hooked it up to diagnostics and test drove it. I was told the torque converter was sticking and that it would need to be replaced along with the transmission. Any thoughts, suggestions, comments. Thanks in advance.

Besides any tech help you get here...
especially, if everything isn't covered under warranty...

Go to at least 2 more dealers/technicians and get their opinion without telling them what the first dealer said.
I'm not a certified tech nor have I actually driven your vehicle, so that's my advice.
