Greetings from eastern South Carolina! Finally got my Xterra just now today, I did. Fairly excited about it. Came within two armpit hairs of buying a Dodge Durango instead... thank everything that does not suck, I didn't.

My 2003 is 2WD, and a shade of green that I cannot name... forest green? Boy Scout green? Whatever, I love it.

I plan on lurking about the forums here, learning what I can.

Welcome, I just signed up today, and also have a 2003 2WD Xterra as well. I think the technical color name for mine is silver ice. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine!

i think i heard someone refer to that color as baby shit green. i like that color, but i dont know the technical name of the color. i think it may be forrest green. i know they had the canteen green, but i thought that was an 04 color.

Hey, Katwoman from Phoenix, are you really from Phoenix itself? I used to live in Peoria, back when there were still orange groves east of 83rd Avenue... I understand it's all pretty much paved over, from the White Tanks all the way to the Superstitions. Sad.

OK, I found it. Because I don't want to drive around in something best described as diaper-colored, I went looking for the proper name of the color.

According to what I find on Nissan sites, it's called "Canteen Green".

I used to live in Glendale for 30 years, up until last July, now we're in Phoenix down by South Mountain. Yes lots of development everywhere now. 83rd avenue is pretty much residential and retail. There are a few trees around, but not the groves you're thinking of. Arrowhead mall is there now (I assume you are talking 83rd ave./bell area) and lots of apts and houses all around. YEs you can drive around for 2 hours and still be in metro Phoenix, development is even going up WEST of the White Tanks.

i really like the canteen green. they said the diaper color wasnt canteen green tho. it was more a forrest green.
