Hey everybody I just got the new X!!! Its an 06 4x4 se as you can see on the side. I was deciding between the off road and sE and went with the se for the music and wheels! Lovin it so far! How much of a difference do you all think there is going to be in the snow and off road with the SE as opposed to the OR?

Welcome and congrats! As for your question...well, the OR edition has those handy dandy full skids...and the rear locker...but otherwise...I've seen SEs do everything an off road edition can do. Snow will be determined by what kind of tires you put on it to handle the snow...BFG ATs are excellent for pretty much everything nature can toss your way. Off roading is pretty much the same with your tires...if you want a good all around off road tire, then the BFG AT is good, as well as the Bridgestone Dueller REVO AT...unless you're totally in the mud all the time when off roading, I'd stay away from MTs as I've learned...they have shite for tread wear and you'll go through them quicker.

Good luck with your new X!
