I've been looking for a new vehichle for several months now. I checked out the competition...Jeep, Hummer, etc., and then I test drove an X. Streetwise it was a nice ride, but then the salesman took me offroad a bit! Damn man, even the illustrious Jeep dealer didn't take me offroad! The X just ate up the dirt, mud and sand(I live near the ocean)! To say the least, I was sold!

I pick up my '06 Super Black SE 4x4 on tuesday, and I look forward to many years of getting 'down and dirty' with it!

That is the model I am in the market for too. What price did you end up paying?

Stray, with all options except satellite radio (I figure 6 cds packed with mp3s will give me a more customized selection of music, to the order of 30 - 40 hours at a clip, than any pay station ever could), it came to $26,658.00. Good luck in finding one as well.

Sounds like invoice price? Anyway, that's about what I put into the "finance calculator" to figure out hypothetical monthly payments. I hope I can get it for around that too. I am also weighing the satellite radio option. Does it blend in with the interior or does it stand out?
