Welcome to the club. Well I don't know about the supercharged version, but I love mine off-road. It's taken everything I've dished out. Everything from snow and ice, to running creeks, duning, you name it. Trust me, you'll love it.

The only off-road issues I've ever really heard anybody complain about are that the oil pan and transfer case are in a bad position. It just takes that one rock to make your great day a bad day. So you may want to invest in skid plates.

I also have a supercharged X. I've never wheeled in a landcruiser so I can't compare the two, however I have been very pleased at what my Xterra has been able to do.

As for crawling down hill,(or up) the Xterra as with many other SUV's and trucks on the market has a fairly tall transfer case ratio, so on really steep downhills you'll be using your brakes.

What tires and wheels did you put on? I look forward to wheeling with as part of UXOC.

P.S. if you don't want to get flamed turn off the caps lock smile

Thank you. It's considered yelling, and as you can see, it's much more difficult to read.
The human eye cannot make out the letter shapes as easily when they are all the same height.
