There has been plenty posted regarding the cracked exhaust manifold common to V6 motors. Is there a performance loss from it though? I am pretty sure mine is(cracked), signs are all there. I recently purchased my X therefore can't compare from before the cracked manifold. It's pretty gutless so any power I can gain the better.

People have posted that they have let it go for quite a while before replacing. I don't want to do any harm, but if it doesn't hurt anything, I'll take my sweet time to take care of it, unless I can gain some power!!!.

it hurts gas mileage.you can look into dorman manifolds,there way cheaper than factory.if your planing a bodylift,do it first.it makes things alot easier.
