Just thought i would share with you guys my final price on the sas.

Dana 44 gears plus install kit-187.14 (ebay)
superwinch manual locking hubs-45.34 (ebay)
Rear fox shocks(splurged a little here-310 (ebay)
35 inch bfg muds and rims- 250 (co4x4.org)
Coilovers with springs-460 (ebay)
Dana 44 rebuild kit-100 (ebay)
waggy axle and custom made square driveshaft-174 (pull and save)
Wheel spacers and leaf perches-50 (friend)
Random tools and autozone trips-250 (autozone)
Calmini SAS kit-1825.52 (picked up at Allphase Offroad)
Rear h233b gears-420 to my door (4x4parts.com)
so around $4350 all said and done
Of course it also nice to have a friend with every sort of tool possible and doing everything including gears urself. But with patience and time it can be done for fairly cheap allowing you to splurge on a few items.
Any questions just ask.
Max

Wow - you got some really great deals there! That's probably about as cheap as it can be done.

Yes. The base Calmini kit is the front end minus the coilovers and driveshaft. For the rear end he hadta go SOA or buy lift leaf packs.

Mine was considerably less with leaves and I have an ARB front locker, diff armor, and a beefed pitman arm. That ride is nicer with the coilovers though. My rear axle was already geared with 5.14's when I had the IFS under it.

Custom spring hanger: $100
Custom shackles: $50
Rough Country 8044 springs (ebay) $190
Waggy D44 from a yard $235
All new steering links - Krage Motorsports - $200ish
Piece of tube to lengthing new waggy draglink; $1
Customized / gusseted pitman arm (I splurged here) $125
New Warn Premiums, 4 balljoints, Spicer 760X Ujoints: $110 from a guy on Pirate
2 cans of flat black spraypaint: $5
2 Ford F250 shock towers: $27
Brake lines and fittings: $70
Custom Driveshaft: $200
Ubolts and ubolt skids (things of beauty): $75
Misc bolts, hardware: $40
ARB Locker (used but reconditioned with new seals) $400
Precision 5.13 gears and install kit: $275
Rancho 5116 shocks: free (they were my old rear shocks)
Warn diff Skid: $60
Locker/gear install: $175
New Wheel bearings and seals: $60
Resurface Rotors: $15
Remanufactured Calipers: $22
New brake pads: $18
Misc grease, parts cleaner, penetrating oil, etc.: $15
New set of lugnuts $10

Total $2478

I'm not counting tires and wheels because I used the same 32's I had for a while before stepping up to 33's. Also, I already had a set of BDS rear springs and some crazy 7" shackles out back for height there (it sat tail high with IFS, now it sits a little nose high).

Add the rear gears and springs that were already on the truck and I'd still be in the neighborhood of $3500.

Both sound like great deals with great end results.

You guys are both very resourceful!

[ThumbsUp] [drink]

Now it's my turn!!

I won't be able to match your price, though.

Stay tuned; I plan on being SASed within 45 days.
