Of AT fluid does the auto tranny require after a complete flush? (Yes, I searched...and no, it's not in my manual).

I know the transfer case takes 2 3/8 quarts of ATF and the front/rear diffs together take 4 1/2 quarts of the 75w-90 gear oil.

Just trying to get the grand total before I go shopping.

8.75 (2WD) or 9.0 (4WD) US Quarts

If you just drain and refill, it will take 4 or 5 quarts.

So roughly 11 1/2 quarts of Mobil1ATF should cover the tranny and transfer case.

And 4 1/2 quarts of their 75w-90 gear oil for the diffs.

Sound about right?

I'm getting the complete tranny flush at the dealer, but bringing my own fluid.

Bring 3 cases (18 quarts) of ATF for the tranny, it will take at least 15 to flush it out, and only 9 are left. I had mine flushed by a dealer as well.
