Hey all. First post. I have some advice and a question about this cruise control. The advice is that if you get one plan on calling the Help line because the manual stinks. I had to make two calls with the hold time being about 20 minutes. In the first call I was told one thing while in the second I was told another. Here are some things I learned:
1. the blue wire is only needed for man. tran. (2nd call info)
2. VSS wire is almost impossible to get to on ECM
3. Cable to Bead Chain to Cable is the combo on throttle
4. 12v switched is hard to find-thanks for nothing Haynes
5. NOTHING IS EVER AS EASY AS IT SEEMS

I must say that once you fight your way through it, it results in clean installation.

Now my question is...can someone please tell me WHICH F'N WIRE IS THE SWITCHED WIRE from the headlight switch? I am at wits end trying to figure out the schematics and my wife is tired of me taking her dash apart!

If you're looking for an accessory circuit the fuse box is full of them - grab the top cigarette lighter.
