Did the Shackles and tbar crank and now my factory jack is too short should I get a flat. Good old Surprise AZ has many new houses going up and lots of damn trucks droppin nails. Anyone have a suggestion to my prob? I don't have sliders so I can't use a hi-lift yet. What should I do till then. I don't thing praying for not having a flat will hold up that long.

You stock jack will still work on the back for sure. I have a 3 inch lift and I can still change my 32's with a stock jack. As for the front if I ever get a flat well, I use the high-jack. If I didn't have the ability to use the high jack I would just grab a piece of wood from where those nails are and put it under my stock jack. Make sure you are safe though, you don't want your truck toppling.

I'd just keep a couple pieces of 2x6 about 12" long in the back of the Xterra. Should give you enough lift, plus give you a stable surface to work off of if changing your tire on dirt/sand/mud.

I bought a piece of the plastic wood for decking, the ones made for stairs actually. 2" thick, cut it to 12", and tied it inside my basket. At least I don't have to worry about it rotting or smelling.

For the rear, put the jack under the spring pack @ the Ubolts.
For the front at the wheel end of the a-arm..
I doubt you would have any issues jacking the truck with any wheel / tire combp that would fit the wheel wells sitting still..
I can get my front 6 or 8 inches off the ground..
more then high enough for jackstands..

If you have a 2000 (or 15" rims) you cannot jack from the leaf pack, jack won't fit under if the tire is flat, you have to use the rear axle.
If I remember right, if I tried the front A arm, the jack would want to kick out..caution should be used.

I let the top of the jack engage the large hole on the underside of the lower control arm, it's pretty secure that way.
